Portions of the proceeds will be awarded
to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and The Justin Cowboy
Crisis Fun of the Pro Rodeo Association.
This event starts at 7:30 PM and runs till 10:30 PM
with live music dancing and plenty of outstanding artwork
for your new or existing collection. This is a great
time of year to see your favorite artists work on silent
auction for below market price and have a great experience.
Remember, this only happens once a year.
In the years past, the private art collectors of Sculptures
by Design have gathered together to make a difference
in the lives of the injured Pro Rodeo Athletes through
donations to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund at the Annual
Black and White Western Boots Ball of Sculptures By
Design. We enjoy their sport and the sheer nerve it
takes to play and want to show our spirit is with them.
This year our committee has chosen to add M. D. Anderson
Cancer Center as an additional charity to this event.
Through many long discussions we have found that a large
number of the artists involved have personally lost
a loved one to cancer or have been directly effected
in someway. For respect of those we have lost and to
help those who still fight, we are pleased to add as
a receiving charity of the event, the city of Houston's,
M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Each accepted artist is asked to participate in the
Silent Art Auction by donating 35% of their sales to
the event and the events named charities. Each accepted
Artist is asked to show their work below retail rate
to insure good faith in the charity event and to help
the patrons of the event get the best possible outcome
of their charitable efforts.
