Description- Marble on oak base. 17x6x9”,
19lbs. The stone is white (marbled) alabaster.
The face and body are completely finished
and buffed to a high sheen. The hair is rough
stone finish sweeping at an upward angle with
deeply grooved lines to provide visualization
of flowing hair. The entire piece is mounted
at a “sharp” wedged and protruding
angle towards the viewer. The face is looking
skyward and mouth open. The eyes are only present
through an impressionistic and subtle coloring
of the stone.
