Jules Doyle
A
fine art photographer in Seattle, Washington. Originally
from Houston, he moved to Seattle to study art and computer
engineering at the University of Washington. After the
first year, a new found love for photography took over
his studies, and eventually his life.
Much of his work represents the urban landscape and
lifestyle seen both locally and abroad. Mostly in the style of Henri Cartier-Bresson, his images convey simplicity of pattern, shape, shadow, textures, and even now colors of the life scenes all around. A style mostly explored and refinded while living and studying in Rome, Italy. While continuing with this line of photography, he has also broken new ground in pushing the limits of common perceptions of modern art photography. Over the past couple of years he's worked on breaking away from typical photographic ideals. New ideas inspired by abstract expressionist paintings have led to evolving series of photos making use of vibrant colors and long exposures.
