Fariba Abedin

Fariba Abedin is a professional artist whose career of painting has spanned through decades. She received her bachelor’s of Fine Arts at Massachusetts College of Art in architecture, and her masters’ in education from University of Connecticut. Her multi-cultural background shapes her artistic depth by allowing her to create many different styles, ranging from picture realism, to impressionism, and now from representational to abstract expressionism sometimes on the same canvas, in oil and acrylic.

In addition, Fariba has traveled the globe to over fifty countries, in which her scenic photographs are inspiring, many of which eventually made it to canvas.

Fariba’s unique blend of bright colors, rich textures, and optimism, brings joy, and excitement to her viewers. “My art is my source of peace, joy, and happiness, which connects me to the creator, and I hope I can transfer them all to my viewers.” She says.

Fariba, now is based in Houston, and her artwork is on display throughout various venues in the city.
